Hi everyone
Thank you for getting in touch over recent weeks expressing interest in WKD this year and requesting a support pack.
I am pleased to say that we are now in a position to confirm what will be available to you.
Our new campaign #KIDNEYSMATTER �The BIG topic everyone's ignoring will show how important kidneys are, what can happen when they go wrong and how to keep them healthy and reduce the risk of kidney disease.
#KIDNEYSMATTER features a big yellow kidney - which is hard to ignore. You�ll see it in a range of materials on the website later this week which you can share on social media and use as a talking point with your friends, plus artwork for
a pull up banner if you are able to produce one for the day etc. We�ll be working with people who can help get the message out as wide as we can, including the media and the kidney community.?
The support pack which will be ready by the end of February, will be very different to previous years in terms of what you actually get in the envelope.
We have produced a kidney fact sheet/infographic which folds out into an A3 poster and plan to send up to
100 to everyone who wants a pack - unless you are just having a small coffee morning with friends or not actually running an event at all, in which case we will just send a few OR if you are running multiple events or planning a huge event and may need
more - perhaps you can let me know - however it is unlikely we will be able to send more than 500.
The other item will be 3-4 lifesize cardboard kidneys which we would like you to use and take various photos for social media - full instructions will accompany those telling you exactly what you need to do.
Do keep following us on social media and there will be a lot of information on our channels (see below) coming in the next few weeks.
