Dear Andrew Hall
Welcome to the WasteAid Virtual Safari at Lake Naivasha in Kenya.
Moses Kiyuka will be our safari guide. Moses lives in Kwa Muhia, our starting point on the southern shore of the lake. When he's not recycling, Moses loves to get into nature and among the incredible
local wildlife. He will lead you to each station in turn, where you will find a variety of challenges.
The distance between each station is 10,000 steps, or 100 minutes' exercise. What you do is up to you! Log your activity on the My Safari homepage and track your progress around the lake. When
you have done enough exercise, you can reach the next station.
Share your challenge photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #VirtualSafari.
Invite your friends or ask them to sponsor you to complete the 75km 10-challenge route.
The virtual safari has been built by volunteers to support the urgent WasteAid fundraising appeal, Waste Collectors Rock! The safari is a give-as-you-feel event, so please donate generously and help us make this stay-at-home fundraising appeal a success.
If you can offer any additional resources to help make the safari an amazing experience, please email us at safari@wasteaid.org
A little exercise, imagination and creativity is good for us all.
Please #StayHomeSaveLives
See you on safari!
