It's weird because. Well. I shouldn't say this to a new recruit but… "" is a name that gets thrown around a lot in the Crabigator Prophecies. I mean, it could be another but… no, I've said too much.

For now you are only a guppy. Floundering about on the sand, gasping for the radicals, kanji, and vocabulary knowledge you crave. You must learn these. Then you must pass the test to become a full member.

But where to begin? How about where all new recruits must start:

If you haven't already, do your first Lessons. This is where you will learn the foundation of kanji: The radicals. The other monks and I will watch you progress through the first three levels with great interest.

You must also read our sacred texts! Our most holy of books, "The WaniKani Guide," can be found below. Read it or you will never come to understand our beliefs. From the legend of "Spaced Repetition System" to the wise old story of "Mnemonics," you will learn what we are all about.
