Some quick info for those who have bought our products in the last year.. update season is upon us, and there are some new developments.

This little app by Mike Rossiter shows dynamic tidal stream data, invaluable for passage planning and a great companion app to Marine Navigator.  Not a VMH product, but we did have some input with it...

Unified Charts:

Physical USB, bought in 2019.  These can be sent back to us from 3rd Feb, just follow all the instructions on the pink slip. Tip: If you haven't already installed the Android charts on 2 devices and activated them, make a copy of the "Android not required for Windows" folder before returning the USB for update.  MAKE SURE you send off this update before mid April, as we a going to be moving premises.

NEW !  Unified Charts by download:  Most of these 2019 downloads can have one initial update for free.  If you bought these 2019 Unified Chart .iso images (the virtual DVD method), have a look here:

This is a brand new service, it's free for purchasers, and it makes the download method far more attractive now.

Dear Members and Customers,

We hope you are keeping safe and well, and have survived the lockdown period OK.  Hopefully things can get back to normal for boatowners now... slowly. This is going to be a strange season, unlikely to move far from base, and unsure of a welcome if moving further.

From June, we will be in the Cowes shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 AM to 4 PM (we're still working from 2 locations). Phone us 2 days a week on 01983 293757. We will open for walk in customers Mon-Fri only when small shops are allowed. Later in June ?

OK, news... The new mobile site VMH-Lite now has it's subscribers area working. This all new "app-like" website is designed for those on the move, (as opposed to deep research).  It's a perfect fit for those who are actually at sea and need info on their phone or tablet. If you have a mobile signal along the coasts, you can use this lightweight site easily.  It also works great on huge HDMI screen at home...

If you are an existing member of VMH, there is nothing on VMH-Lite that isn't on the main site.  BUT.. it's in a totally different map driven format.  Existing UK based members can get free trial of this till December (£2.20 per year after).

If you haven't joined VMH yet, you may find the Lite site is better suited to your situation, if you often use mobile devices. Have a good rummage around the DEMO version, the paid version is the same without the watermarks.    It's a £5.00 instant access fee, followed a few months later by a Direct Debit of £7.99 per year.  Again UK based customers only at present.

In 2019 we bought the entire remaining stocks of these, direct from the makers, STK. These remarkable beasties keep selling well...Over 220 sold in 2019.  We will run out this year for sure. You won't get it anywhere else, nor will you get  IP68 tablets anywhere near this price-point. Perfect for chart-plotting duties in demanding conditions.
