Happy PCOS Awareness Month!

Yes it is September already! Now we all know this year has been a bit barmy but we cannot believe we are in September. It is always a busy time for us and this year is no different although what we are doing may be done a little differently. Previously we have had conferences or workshops even some fun runs as well as local meets but alas that has been effected by the Covid. 

However, we still wanted to bring you all the latest pcos updates.

What you can do:

As trustees who run Verity alongside our day jobs and lives there is only so much the five of us can do. That is where you come in as who better to raise awareness about pcos than those that live with it day in day out for full details see here but you can:

- join our pcos photo challenge on instagram which throughout the month shows the highs and lows of the condition. Make sure you tag us @veritypcos
- paint a finger nail purple to show the 1 in 10 that have pcos and use it as a talking point
- join the 100 for pcos challenge to do 100 miles for pcos whilst raising funds for Verity.

There have been a few questions about the ''colour for PCOS'' so for clarification Verity has been running since 1997 in England and Wales and chose the colour purple as our primary colour. Teal is the colour of ovarian cancer charities here so we did not want people linking the two up.
