In these challenging times, we want you to know that we are thinking of you and sincerely hoping you are safe, healthy, and able to find ways to make these unusual circumstances productive and enjoyable.

To that end, our staff at the U.S. Kids Golf Academy has prepared some at-home activities that will entertain and educate, as well as keep your golf skills sharp.

First are some golf-themed Word Games that are based around principles of our Player Pathway. Let's see how much you know and how quickly you can solve these puzzles.

Next, based on our Pathway, we have some short video tips to help you with your game. We will start with a series on putting, led by the newest member of our Academy, Nicole Weller. Nicole is a Top 50 LPGA Teacher and U.S. Kids Golf Master Coach. In 2013, she became the only person to win the prestigious Junior Golf Leader Award from both the PGA of America and the LPGA. Nicole, as well as other top coaches from the Academy, will continue to add more video tips for you in the days ahead.

We hope these activities keep golf a part of your life, and we look forward to all getting out on the course together soon.

Dear U.S. Kids Golf families,

Now that you have some downtime, we'd like to suggest you watch a movie on Netflix called The Short Game. 

Back in 2012, I was approached by one of our Daddy caddies, David Frankel, who, as I learned later, was the director of several well-known movies, including The Devil Wears Prada and Marley & Me. He told me how much our tournaments had impacted his family, and he wanted to share his experience, so he became Executive Producer of the project. He found two young filmmakers in LA, who were willing to raise the money and take on the work. A year later, in 2013, the film was shot, and that fall it became Netflix's first full-length feature documentary after winning the Audience Award at the South by Southwest Film Festival, among other numerous awards.

You might also want to know that David's son, Jake Beber-Frankel, has signed to play golf at Stanford this fall.

An idea for your kids at home.

Medical officials say that getting outside and into the fresh air is quite safe for the entire family if social distancing policies are followed.
