As Chief Policy and Strategy Officer, I get to scope out the fights TIME''S UP takes on to achieve our mission of safe, fair, and dignified work for all women. And let me tell you - there''s plenty of work to be done.
That''s why I wanted to take a moment to share with you our strategic plan over the next year:
- Pioneering research. We pioneer innovative research driving toward public and private sector solutions to address systemic inequality and injustice in the workplace.
- Industry change. We support leaders in industries such as entertainment, health care, advertising and more to shift the paradigm of workplace culture toward one of safety, equity, and dignity for women of all kinds.
- Justice for survivors. We enable more people to seek justice for workplace sexual harassment and related retaliation through the TIME''S UP Legal Defense Fund, which has already connected more than 3,700 people to legal and PR resources.
Our goals are as ambitious as they are urgent. But our work takes enormous resources - and it''s powered by people like you stepping up. Will you make a sustaining gift to TIME''S UP today to fuel our fight for safe, fair, and dignified work for all women?

I don''t need to tell you that our work is a marathon, not a sprint. After the #MeToo movement first began, we quickly realized that only by rooting out pervasive gender inequality - and ensuring women are equally represented at every level, in every industry - could we end the sexual harassment and discrimination that has been allowed to fester for so long.
Take sexual harassment for example. In May 2018, the TIME''S UP Legal Defense Fund filed claims on behalf of women working at McDonald''s who''d experienced harassment on the job.
A year later, McDonald''s had done nothing to change its culture of harassment - and so TIME''S UP released an open letter signed by thousands demanding that McDonald''s take steps to end the harassment and retaliation at their stores. And the TIME''S UP Legal Defense Fund took on an additional 23 complaints of harassment, abuse and retaliation against McDonald''s.
