Sophia!
This email, I should tell you, is not important.
At all.
There''s no rhyme or reason behind it and, truthfully, I have not a clue what''s about to come out of my mouth. So if you''re busy feel free to toss it aside.
If you''ve got a minute and want to hang out, have a seat, grab something to drink (coffee for me), and let''s hope I don''t say anything outrageously offensive.
Ready?
Let''s race!
Fiddle Faddle!
I''ve plunged an outrageous amount of caffeine into my blood stream, am 30 minutes out from marching into my workout, and I''m currently sporting the most prolific wedgie the world has ever seen.
Have You Ever Tried Bread Pudding?
I tried it several years ago for the first time and, tragically, haven''t had it since.
I had it when I went to visit my friend, Pat Flynn (do you know him? he''s a coach, too) and he took me to his favorite restaurant, Alba, in Malvern.
We got the bread pudding for dessert and even though I couldn''t have the vanilla ice cream on top -- I''m explosively lactose intolerant, you see -- it was delightful.
New Workout Called Corona Eats Boogers
(Wanna Try?)
I did this yesterday and, fair warning, my body was useless for the next few hours.
But if you''re cool with hard work and are in the mood for a swift and effective workout, give it a shot.
Circuit 1 (15min)
- Pendulum Lunge x 8/leg
- Pause Push-Up x 8
- Single-Leg Hip Thrust x 8/leg
- Shoulder Raise x 12
Circuit 2 (5min)
- Jump Squat x 5
- Walkout x 5
You can watch me quickly demonstrate how to do this workout HERE.
No Lolly Bopping!
I don''t like taking much rest between sets, Jordan. If you''re lifting heavy, sure, take 2-3 minutes for full recovery. But the rest of the workout should be, I think, swift and sweaty.
Too much texting, or Facebooking, or selfie taking between sets lets your heart rate come down too much, cools your muscles, and keeps you from focusing on what needs to be done.
"Lolly Bopping," I call it.
Get in. Focus on your workout (60 minutes or less). And get out.
The less lolly bopping the better.
