FSI COVID-19 Update

At this time of crisis in the world, our thoughts and prayers are for those affected by this pandemic. We'd like to update you on actions we are taking to protect our staff and customers. FSI''s intent is to continue to provide timely shipment of all products, with priority given to those destined for healthcare facilities.

Concerns for FSI Staff

We have eliminated most corporate travel, and asked any staff returning from COVID-19 affected locations to self-quarantine (with pay) before returning to our workplace. We are taking all the common sense precautions such as cleaning our workplace more frequently, asking employees to socially separate, and minimizing in-person meetings and conferences.

With school closures and disruptions to transit, we have offered employees completely flexible work hours and transportation assistance. We have set up our two facilities (Bronx, NY, and Edison, NJ) so FSI can function from either should transit in the NYC metro area be further disrupted.

Serving Customers

FSI is open and fully stocked. We intend to operate as close to normal as possible through the crisis. As individual work schedules are adjusted, you may find your phone call or email answered by a different staff member than you're used to, but we will continue to respond to your questions.

We are continually monitoring our supply chain for goods and manufacturing components, and will adjust as needed to keep our core models available. At this time, our inventory is close to 100% of its seasonal norm. Our supply chain is widely geographically diversified, so we have adjusted purchases to keep adequate stocks of what we need to fill orders in a timely basis.

Prioritizing Shipments

Part of FSI's product portfolio is refrigerators and other appliances serving the healthcare industry. During this crisis, we will give these priority over other shipments, should there be any capacity restrictions through the US logistics system. At this time, we believe we can continue to ship all orders on the same timely basis you've come to expect.

Monitoring the Situation

FSI will closely monitor the ongoing situation, and comply with all government rules and guidelines. Should our ability to serve our customers change, we will reach out to you immediately. We cannot predict the future, but we will do everything we can to protect our staff and our community, and to continue to serve our customers.
