Below is a sample of the emails you can expect to receive when signed up to Stop Soldier Suicide.
Good morning, Mr. Harris,
Thank you for submitting your web request form to our website. My name is Ann Gasperini and I am a Case Manager with Stop Soldier Suicide. I am contacting you in reference to the form you filled out requesting information on resources available to veterans.
Stop Soldier Suicide is a nonprofit organization serving veterans as well as our military community. In our Wellness Program, we utilize evidence-based risk assessment tools in order to create a customized wellness plan to address your needs, which may include identifying risk/protective factors and connecting you to resources. These resources may include but are not limited to clinical services, financial support, housing and employment assistance, substance abuse treatment, and therapeutic services for such conditions as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Although we don't provide direct clinical services or therapy, we do offer other supportive and follow-up services based on your level of need and personalized wellness plan.
Please contact the Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255, press 1 if you need immediate assistance in a crisis situation.
I may have some resources available that might be helpful for you, but in order to proceed, I will need for you to complete our intake process (demographic questions, military service history and general medical/health). Please give me a call at your earliest convenience between the hours of 9:00 - 3:00 pm EST or respond to this email so that we can discuss your web form in detail. This will help us identify services that you may find useful. You can reach us by calling 844-889-5610 or email me at ann.gasperini@stopsoldiersuicide.org. Please let me know if there is a specific date and/or time of day that would work best to contact you. If I do not hear from you, I will attempt to email you again on Wednesday, 11/20/19. I look forward to connecting with you.
