New year, New formulas: Change of YouTube Engagement Rate
Stellar is constantly improving its formulas and algorithms to make sure you are as much accurate as possible when it comes to analysing your influencers and collaborations. With that in mind, we would like to kick-off #2020 with a new way to calculate the engagement rate of YouTube videos - Change will be effective on Tuesday 7th of January.
So What's new?
Before, the Engagement Rate of a YouTube video used to be equal to the total number of video engagements divided by the follower count. From now on, it will correspond to the total number of engagements divided by the total views for that video.We will continue to use the latest 30 videos to calculate the average influencer's engagement rate on YouTube.
