Hello,

We released Snipcart v3.0.5�just in time for the Holidays! ?

Highlights:

• PayPal Express Checkout support
• Customer dashboards (faster checkouts + orders history)
• Full multi-lingual support for cart template

Here are the full release notes, including issues fixed.

Since the v3.0 release, we've been hard at work restructuring our development process. It's paying off: velocity and predictability are improving.

From Dec. 21st to Jan. 6th, we'll take a break from operations. Of course, we'll still actively monitor support fort urgent issues.

I'm excited for next year, and so is our team. ????

Hi,

We just released Snipcart v3.0.8.

Being fallible humans, we also forgot to tell you about 3.0.7. ???????

The biggest highlight is even better error reporting. When in Test mode, explicit error messages now pop in both UI and console.

These will help developer experience when integrating Snipcart. We'll keep improving DX going forward.

Here are the full release notes, including issues fixed.

Inventory management now works correctly with v3. Google Analytics integration will ship by the end of this two-week sprint.

Right now, we're finishing up the custom payment gateway feature.

Introducing a long-awaited improvement:

Snipcart doesn''t influence your browser history when navigating a site anymore. Hitting that back button won''t make you jump through opened Snipcart modal screens.

For our more technically-inclined users, new methods are available in the JS SDK. They let you show or hide the cart programmatically.

On another note, our marketing website is now much faster, thanks to Cloudflare. Oh, on another secret note: we''ve started designing a brand new website! Expect a better design (duh), a full Jamstack setup, content as a first-class citizen, and a community focus.

We''ve also added webhooks for order refunds and notifications.

After publishing this post, we heard through the grapevines that a Strapi / Nuxt / Snipcart e-commerce starter was in the works. Follow Strapi to stay informed!

It allows you to integrate Snipcart with any payment method we do not officially support:

- Cryptocurrency

With that being said, we just released Snipcart v3.0.10.

We added a nifty notification system to the inventory management feature. It automatically informs customers of stock issues and adjusts quantities per in-cart item.

Oh, we also have published a migration guide v2 ? v3!

Finally, we tackled lots of small issues, making the checkout flow smoother.

We just released Snipcart v3.0.13.

Useful JavaScript events have been added to the v3.

Developers typically use them to customize user experience on a merchant site:

• Display shipping/discount notices when a cart is started.
• Display a call-to-action when specific items are added to cart.
• Offer exclusive promotions when customers are signed in.

Or to pass data to third party marketing tools, like feeding mailing lists, for instance.

We also implemented an onboarding checklist in the dashboard. New users can follow specific steps to go Live faster. We''re open to feedback on this!

Cart translations have been added/improved (de-CH, cz, sk, de).

Support for Authorize.NET is now available in the v3.0 (since v3.0.17). Also, customers can now retrieve their password in the customer dashboard in case they forgot it.
