It's February and not only is the first sniff of Spring in the air it also promises to be a fun packed month with plenty of half-term activities to occupy the whole family! Sunderland Empire have an amazing line up ready to entertain, from Thriller to Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dream coat - the hills of Sunderland are definitely set to come alive with the Sound of music! If you fancy getting crafty Sunderland Museum and Winter gardens and the National Glass Centre have some fab activities on offer for budding artists. If the weather permits why not get out and about and enjoy some of our amazing green spaces, parks and wonderful coastline (and if the weather stinks - head indoors to the Beacon of Light for the BIG indoors Sports Festival). Whatever you choose to do have a fun and love filled February in Sunderland!

Named after Mars God of war and with the last three days of the month allegedly borrowed from April, March leads us into early Spring with a tale or two to it''s name! Folklore and tales aside you can expect plenty of great entertainment in Sunderland this month.
