Dear Roger Walker, Thank you for registering to attend SATELLITE 2020 Conference & Exhibition, March 9-12, 2020 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. We will reach out as the show gets closer with more information regarding booking a hotel, traveling to DC, conference agenda and exhibit hall updates, and where and when to pick up your badge. In the meantime, if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us at inquiry@satshow.com. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made after November 4, 2019 will be subject to a cancellation fee of $999. Registrants who do not cancel prior to January 20, 2020 will be liable for the full registration fee. Non-payment of non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. If for any reason Access Intelligence decides to cancel or postpone this conference. Access Intelligence is not responsible for covering airfare and other travel costs incurred by the clients. Refunds due to registrant error will be charged a $199 processing fee. Discounts will not be applied to current registrations. No refunds will be granted after March 6, 2020. SUBSTITUTION/REPRINT POLICY Registrations can be altered and edited up until the badge is printed. Access Intelligence recognizes the information in the registration system, NOT the confirmation e-mail, as the most current and valid information. Substitutions may be made at any time for the confirmed registrants of SATELLITE 2020; however printed badges are non-transferable once collected at the event. Notice of substitution must be made be made in writing by the original registrant to Register@SATShow.com or SATELLITE 2020, Attn: Registration, 9211 Corporate Blvd., 4th Floor, Rockville, MD, 20850. There will be a $25 charge for badge reprints onsite. AGE POLICY No one under the age of 18 is permitted to register for or attend SATELLITE 2020. |

Our duty to the community is to foster an environment that encourages business discussions among many sectors and continue progression of innovation in the satellite and space industries.
The majority of SATELLITE's exhibitors and attendees are based in the U.S. and there are currently no travel restrictions within the U.S., or to and from most international destinations. We don't expect that to change prior to the show dates. International travelers should plan for added time at U.S. airports for additional screening, but domestic travelers can expect safe and convenient travel.
The travel restrictions have caused a select few of our international audience to cancel their plans to attend. This will not have a material impact on our trade show.
While we're committed to stage SATELLITE as planned, we are also dedicated to the health and safety of all participants. We're working closely with Destination DC, the convention and visitors' bureau; the convention center and all member hotels to ensure increased disinfection efforts, hand sanitizer stations and safety precautions. As you likely know, DC is one of the world's top convention destinations and home to many diverse, political groups, so the safety of their visitors is a high priority. We are all monitoring this situation closely and will be ready to respond accordingly should anything change.
We will be taking added measures at SATELLITE 2020 to stop any spread of illness, but we also recommend everyone follow the CDC's recommendations in their daily life to also stop the spread of illness: cough into a tissue, not your hands; wash your hands frequently and do not touch your face with unwashed hands; monitor your body temperature to detect any possible symptoms early.
We're happy to report that SATELLITE 2020's pre-show stats are very strong with nearly 12,000 registrants to date (that's 9% higher than 2019 at this time). Our exhibit floor will be packed with 325+ exhibitors and preliminary calls to attendees have shown that 95% still plan to attend SATELLITE. The show also has some new features that we're excited about and think you will be, too. We look forward to seeing you at SATELLITE 2020, beginning this Monday, March 9! Sincerely, Lindsey Fuller
