We usually cover a range of different basics so you literally need no experience at all. There's also usually one or two coffees on the table that don't quite make it to the bar or online store.

Did you know that Proud Mary pay a "fixed price" for our coffee? 

A fixed price protects farmers from making a loss when market rates fluctuate and prices fall below the cost of production.... Which happens a LOT. 

This model establishes a guarantee between producer, buyer and exporter.

This is our fifth year working with owner Wilford Lamastus, who has basically become known as the Geisha Wizard of Panama and it''s more than fair to say that some of the best coffees on the planet come from these estates. The ASD (Anaerobic Slow Dry) is a method which creates flavours of exotic tropical fruits through fermentation without oxygen which is what give this already insane coffee another layer of "excuse me?!!!"  

The ultra-high elevation ELIDA ESTATE Farm goes from 1,700m to 2,060m, part of it is located within the Volcan Baru National Park, a protected ecological reserve and sanctuary for exotic plants, birds and mammals. The farm has a total of 65ha of which 40ha are planted with: Catuai, Geisha and a bit of Typica, the rest is a private forest reserve or is inside the VBNP. The coffee trees are surrounded by virgin rainforest populated by a great number of beneficial microorganisms: yeasts, bacterias, etc. Translation: This is Geisha Country

If you are already a Zen Master and want to learn how to transcend reality, well.. we haven''t got a course for that yet, but we''ll start working on that!
