The Port of San Diego continues to expand opportunities for San Diego area residents and visitors alike to experience a vibrant waterfront destination with engaging public art, cutting edge cultural programming, and diverse and exciting special events. 

As part of this mission, and inspired by the world’s premier Ocean Sciences Meeting taking place in San Diego in February, Seaport Village and the Port of San Diego have partnered with artist Jessica Ling Findley to produce a series of immersive art experiences that bring science to life through art. These works, produced with input and data from scientists at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Birch Aquarium, explore how stories of Ocean Optimism can inspire everyone to work together for a sustainable future.

These immersive experiences, performances, and installations happening throughout February -- and culminating with a wrestling show featuring characters inspired by sea creatures -- invite audiences to think about the future of our oceans in new and creative ways.

Join the Port of San Diego at the 8^th Annual International Mariachi Festival! Celebrate San Diego's Mexican heritage through mariachi music, traditional ballet folkloric dancing, and a celebration of arts, culture, and culinary delights.

In addition to live entertainment, the entire family can enjoy the Family Arena, filled with face painting, caricatures, virtual reality games, and arts and crafts for the whole family.

Due to high attendance, event parking is limited. Consider using alternative modes of transportation. Free shuttles are available from the H Street Transit Center.
