Physitrack Connect - December 2020Dear reader,
Greetings from a wintery England.
Just like Santa's sack, this month's Physitrack Connect is set to be filled with goodies.
This year, Santa came early - our recently launched M&A program completed its first acquisition by linking up with Finland's Physiotools and Sweden's Mobilus!
Content has been decorating your Physitrack library with new exercises, educational content and PROMs.
Our development team elves are busy in their workshop, creating and wrapping up more new features.
Physi-Santa paid an early visit to Poland and switched on our Polish server, meaning you can now access Physitrack in Polish.
All of this dusted and sprinkled with our recently approved ISO27001 certification.
Our Physitrack University tips at the end of this newsletter cover how to personalise your Physitrack account to help make your clients' experience great.
None of this is possible without your ongoing loyalty, support and feedback. So, thank you all.
We hope that you will manage to spend some time with loved ones this Holiday Season, be it in person, or what we've all become accustomed to.
Best wishes, RosalindRosalind Heys-Limonard Clinical Safety Officer & Clinical Lead Physitrack
Physitrack ?? PhysiotoolsWe are very excited to announce that we have made our first acquisition as part of our Mergers and Acquisition program!
On November 30, the full acquisition of our former competitor Physiotools was completed. And with it the acquisition of a Swedish former competitor Mobilus, which Physiotools had acquired a few weeks prior.
Physiotools was the first provider of patient engagement solutions to our industry when it launched in 1983, starting with diskettes, CD ROMs and
eventually cloud-based exercise prescription. Their work inspired many providers, including us, in the digital health space as the rehab industry digitised. It is very humbling that we now have the opportunity to continue their legacy as part of the Physitrack group.
Read more about the acquisition here 180 new exercises, vestibular education content, and new PROMsIn September, we were fortunate to have access to a state-of-the-art high-performance gym, allowing us to finally pick up some much requested gym-based content.
Your Library > Exercises tab now hosts the addition of new power rack, vibration plate, cable machine and TRX content, plus a host of pull-ups exercises.
For the vestibular specialists amongst you, take a look in our Library > Education tab. You will find PDFs on: - Concussion
- Vestibular dysfunction after concussion
- Whiplash after concussion
- Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
We've also added the following outcome measures to the platform:
- Lower limb functional index & LLFI-10
- Spine functional index & SFI-10
- Upper limb functional index & ULFI-10
- O?rebro musculoskeletal screening questionnaire & O?MSQ-12
A special thanks to Dr. Philip Gabel for allowing us to host his PROMs on our platform!
Our engineering team is continuously improving Physitrack, both in terms of security, stability and new features.

Physitrack now holds ISO 27001 certificationSomething we are very proud of, and particularly wish to congratulate our hard-working CTO, Nate on, is our recent deal of approval with ISO27001 certification.
So, what does that mean in real language?
With the growing number of digital healthcare platforms, more and more people are becoming aware of the potential risks of their data being held on a digital platform.
A company that attains ISO27001 certification has proven that it has created an information security management system ("ISMS") that is in
compliance with the ISO 27001 standard.
This means that Physitrack has systems, policies and procedures in place to ensure that your data (and by extension, your client data) is properly protected in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability, through an elaborate set of continuously improving controls that span all dimensions of Physitrack, including HR, subcontracting and management.
Tip of the month: Personalise your contact with your clients.Technology may sometimes seem a little impersonal - well, not with Physitrack!?
This month we look at 5 different ways to personalise your contact with your clients. Spending a bit of attention to personalisation will bring a lot of value to your clients, and thus, to you too.
