A year in the planning. Months in the making. Weeks in the testing. And days in the procrastinating *just in case* it isn’t perfect. Novlr 3.0 is now here.
Novlr is growing up fast. Last year we spent a lot of time fleshing out what the Novlr brand needs to be for the next few years. We rolled it out across our website and socials to check it felt right. It does. With this brand upgrade to Novlr itself, you can see why it matters: Novlr's interface is better designed, it's cleaner, easier to use, and therefore it's a more effective writing platform.

What's changed
It's a full redesign. We took hundreds of bits of micro feedback to improve all areas of the app, including paving the way for all the features still to come.
Here's a blog post highlighting the major changes in Novlr 3.0.
If you don't have 3.0 yet
Novlr uses caching to decrease load time and increase the app's performance, this means it can take some time for you to get the latest upgrade. Your browser also uses caching. If you want to force yourself onto 3.0, and a hard refresh hasn't got it for you, you should log out and clear your browser cache* before logging back in again.
*Do not clear cache if you are offline and have un-synced offline work.

Novlr now on mobile & tablet
Write in the middle of the night when an idea wakes you; write in the garden while watching the kids; write on the bus (when this is all over); and if you have your best ideas on the toilet...we''ve got you covered.
It''s been a long time coming: Novlr is now fully optimised for tablet and mobile. You''ve been able to access Novlr on all devices for a while, but it came with a precautionary warning. We''re pleased to say, that warning is no longer needed. You can now write anywhere. No more excuses.

What else is new?
We''ve added some bug fixes and smaller features in this release. You can now reorder your novels, choose to hide sub-chapter headings on export and more.
