Amanda "Panda" Nauman plans to ride the Caldera 500 route were foiled by wildfire, but she's planning a new attempt.

After months of planning, our rider Amanda Nauman was forced to cancel her attempt to be the first female finisher of the West's most challenging bikepacking route. The Slink wildfire in particular threatens towns, homes and businesses on the route.  But she's already planning a return to the area later this fall when the weather cooperates.
