5 Closet Design Tips

It is January and it in January the urge to purge, organize & freshen up our homes is at its height.

After the excess of the holiday season, it is only natural to want to clear the decks so to speak.
Every year once the decorations are put away, I head up to my room & turn my attention to my closet.
I am most ruthless this time of year. In January, the pieces I may hang on to at another time of year go swiftly into a pile.
Besides the obvious purging of the items in your closet, the design of your closet makes a big difference on how well the space works for you. Fewer rods? Need drawers? Hooks maybe?
I removed a long rod on the left, added a terrific dresser, a mirror, lamp, a tray and even managed a vase of flowers thanks to the new dressers expansive top.
My jeans are now stored in a large canvas bins and my off season accessories are in two great looking wire baskets. What a difference!
