During this holiday season, my heart is with those who have faced extraordinary struggles during COVID-19.
The unique and urgent threats presented by the pandemic highlighted the importance of vital systems like healthcare and supply chain. Our appreciation for workers caring for the sick and meeting the population's needs for food, medicine, and household necessities rightly grew. We began to call them what they have always been: heroes.
We also supported and learned from the Black Lives Matter movement, which brought to light serious inequities and racism in the way we as a country have historically operated. The MxD team worked to raise our consciousness of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how we can continue to espouse these principles as we execute our mission.
What do these breakthroughs have in common? They brought important, weighty, true things to the surface so we could address them. They commanded the attention of people who want to make a difference, and our amazing community got to work on problems that matter: producing PPE for area hospitals, providing timely resources for manufacturers, identifying the issues critical to responding effectively to the crisis, and taking action to address them.
Below, we have compiled the most viewed resources of 2020, with the hope that they will help address a novel barrier you are facing.
With 2021 on the horizon, I feel tremendous gratitude for our team and partners. Jumping into unknown territory with the innovators and doers in our network has only increased my optimism for what lies ahead.
