Construction Logistics Planning – Foundation

CLP training will help you build your knowledge and understanding of how to plan for construction logistics early in the planning process and throughout the construction programme to improve community safety and project productivity.

Construction logistics planning focuses on construction supply chains and how their impact on the road network can be reduced. Well-planned construction logistics will reduce:

?         Road risk: improving the safety of road users

?         Congestion: reduced vehicle trips, particularly in peak periods

?         Environmental impact: lower vehicle emissions and noise levels

?         Cost: efficient working practices and reduced deliveries

Who should attend?

Construction Logistics Planning is the golden thread that underpins the CLOCS Standard. It is also an important management tool for UK local authority planners, logistics professionals, developers, designers and consultants, principal contractor and for the supply chain.

You will have already completed CLP Foundation training, a fabulous introduction to CLPs and a great place to start building on your knowledge and understanding of the purpose and of the methodology.

CLP Practitioner training aims to now equip you with the tools to begin to develop, assess and deliver CLPs, to effectively meet the requirements of making a full assessment of all phases of construction.

CLOCS Construction Logistics Plan Foundation training via virtual classroom, is designed to create the optimum interactive online learning experience, to enable even more people to begin their CLP journeys.
