Time to Submit Abstracts - DEADLINE APPROACHING

Online abstract submission for the 15th ICPA is open at https://www.ispag.org/abstracts.

We invite you to submit an abstract for the various conference topics. Abstracts will be reviewed for suitability based on scientific content and clarity. Abstracts meeting these criteria will be accepted for presentation as either oral or poster presentations at the conference. Abstract length must be in the range 300-500 words with no figures, references or tables. Authors of accepted abstracts will be entitled to present their research at the Conference after payment of registration fees. They will also be entitled to submit full papers (more details later) for the Conference Proceedings in February of 2020. Conference Proceedings will be published on the website and will be available after the conference.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 NOV 2019. Questions pertaining to abstract submissions should be addressed to abstracts@ispag.org.

PA in Bulgaria

Precision Agriculture in Bulgaria - Rositsa Beluhova-Uzunova and Dobri Dunchev, Agricultural University-Plovdiv, Bulgaria

In Bulgaria precision agriculture (PA) technologies are widely used on the large grain and oilseed farms in the northern part of the country. On those farms most tractors and combines are equipped with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) displays and steering systems, and also with systems for implement guidance on slopes and systems for section control for sprayers. They also use combines which create digital yield maps during the harvest. According to the agricultural census in 2016, there are about 2300 large farms specialized in extensive production in Bulgaria. Those farm represent 68% of the country’s agricultural area. PA technology is rare on medium and small farms in Bulgaria. More information on PA is available on the ISPA website.

2019 Precision Agriculture in Denmark

In 2019 28% of Danish farms occupying 66% of farmland used some type of precision agriculture (PA). Denmark is one of the few countries where the government statistics office collects information on the adoption of precision agriculture (PA). The data is from a stratified sample drawn from all farms with cultivated area registered with the government for administrative and regulatory purposes. The 2019 sample size was 6005 respondents. The Danish survey asked about Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), sprayer section control, software for planning nitrogen applications, satellite & drone images and crop sensors. Some key results:

In Denmark the most commonly adopted PA technology is GNSS guidance. In 2019 Real Time Kinematic (RTK) Global Positioning Systems (GPS) were used by 24% of farms covering 59% of cultivated area.
Sprayer section control has followed a similar pattern to GNSS guidance. In 2019, it was used by 14% of farms covering 40% of cultivated area.
In 2019 drone or satellite images were used by 5% of farms with 15% of cultivated area.
Crop sensors were used by only 2% of farms covering 8% of cultivated area in 2019.
As in most other countries, PA has been adopted first on larger farms in Denmark. For example, the average size of all farms is 83 ha, but the average size of farms using GNSS guidance is 202 ha and the average size of farms using crop sensors is 342 ha.

ECPA 2021

Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 13th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA) to be held between 19-22 of July, 2021 in Budapest, Hungary, under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and organized by the Hungarian Society of Precision Agriculture and Agroinform. Abstract submission opens soon, deadline for the abstract submission will be 7th of October, 2020 (Wednesday) 12pm CET.

Budapest is the capital city of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest has long been the focal point of the nation. The city is a lively cultural centre on both sides of the Danube (Hungarian: Duna) River in the magnificent natural setting where the hills of western Hungary meet the plains stretching to the east and south. It consists of two parts, Buda and Pest, which are situated on opposite sides of the river and connected by a series of bridges.

Precision Agriculture (PA) is just as an important issue now as when it was first developing in the late 80s/early 90s. The size of ECPA meetings allows the community to focus on specific topics covering all aspects of PA practices, while discovering what our colleagues are working on, enabling synergies and co-operation. We cordially invite you to submit an abstract of your research related to the topics of 13th ECPA (listed in the conference website). We will do our best to keep the standards of the Proceedings, which will require a full paper submission (after acceptance of an abstract) and careful assessment by the Scientific Committee.

The 13th European Conference on Precision Agriculture conference website (https://ecpa2021.agroinform.hu/) will provide you with all the information related to the conference.

Shortly we will kindly ask you to fill in a questionnaire in order to have a better indication of possible attendance and to register your name and contact information in a database with the sole purpose of keeping you up-to-date.

15th ICPA Registration

Registration is open for the 15th ICPA in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA on June 28 - July 1, 2020. The 15th International Conference on Precision Agriculture will highlight significant research and its applications in precision agriculture and showcase emerging technologies and information management for agriculture. It will offer oral and poster presentations and exhibits, as well as a discussions and exchange of information in various aspects of precison agriculture. Sessions will offer information on key topics for scientists, crop consultants, advisors, extension personnel, agronomists, producers, and other practicioners.

- The study objective was to 1) To analyze the effects of water and nitrogen fertilizer rates on sugar beet yield and quality, 2) To explore the potential of using aerial-based (UAVs) data for sugar beet nitrogen and water content monitoring, and 3) To access the feasibility of predicting sugar beet root yield and recoverable sugar using UAV-based sensors.
Dr. Subash Dahal - Bridging the Data-Gap in Sensing and Precision Nitrogen Application: Biodegradable Soil Sensors
- Owing to recent advances in digital technology and the “fourth industrial revolution”, producers now have access to sophisticated farm equipment and tools for precision application of N fertilizer at fine spatial and temporal scale. The major challenge now is to develop tools for inexpensive and precise measurement of soil N during the crop growing season to understand the dynamic N requirement at a fine spatial and temporal resolution. Miniature biodegradable soil N sensors have tremendous potential to bridge the data-gap between measurement and precision application of Nitrogen fertilizer for improving N use efficiency and yield, however scientific studies focused on the development and assessment of such sensors are limited to none.
Dr. Athyna Cambouris - In-Season Nitrogen Fertilizer Application under Potato Production
- Potato (Solanum Tuberosum L.) has a high nitrogen requirement, especially when grown in sandy soils. Variable rate application of nitrogen fertilizer can avoid zone of under- and over-fertilization, but uniform application of nitrogen fertilizer still remains the most common practice for the potato production. Soil management zone approach can help growers to achieve a part of this in coupling with in-season nitrogen fertilization. Results and the approach used will be presented during the webinar.

15th ICPA Announcement with Coronavirus Updates

As our member community makes plans to join us for the 15th ICPA currently scheduled for June 28-July 1, 2020 in Minneapolis, MN, we want to assure our exhibitors, attendees, speakers, and partners that we are continuing to plan for the conference. Keep an eye on your inbox for up-to-date information.

The ISPA staff and Board are aware of the concerns and uncertainties related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus). Our top priority is the health, safety, and security of our members and meeting attendees. We are closely monitoring developments and staying abreast of updates from health organizations. While we are still months away from our meeting we are prepared to respond to any issues that arise and will continue to keep you informed via ispag.org/icpa and email. The safety of our community remains our highest priority and we continue to monitor the COVID-19 developments closely, following guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

We have received some inquiries from exhibitors and attendees about how our plans are evolving in light of recent COVID-19 developments and we want to assure our community that we are continuing to follow national and local public health guidelines closely and implementing appropriate measures. We continue to work with all partners including the Minneapolis Marriott City Center to ensure the safety of all participants is the highest priority at the event. We will continually monitor the travel situations of exhibitors and attendees who are impacted by the travel restrictions and will work with them on options in the absence of being able to attend in 2020. Please help us stay informed of your own travel plans and your local government or institution travel restrictions by emailing us at info@ispag.org.

We will continue to provide our membership and ICPA community with regular updates.

We intend to make a decision on whether or not to go forward with the conference no later than May 1, 2020. Given the flux in the day to day situation with COVID-19, we have revised the deadline for papers to June 1, 2020.

The Board has decided to postpone the 15h ICPA until June 26-29, 2022. The conference will take place at the same location, Minneapolis Marriott City Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The Society would like to acknowledge the flexibility shown by the Marriott at this difficult time.

If you have pre-registered for the conference, a refund will be issued soon.

While we will not be holding the conference this year, a number of activities are ongoing.

First, the election of officers will proceed. Nominations for the Board positions will remain open through June 8, 2020. More about elections and nomination procedures will be emailed to members.

Second, the Pierre C. Robert Scientist Awards will be presented this summer. The nomination process and forms for the Young Scientist and Senior Scientist awards are available through the website. More information on this will be distributed in the coming week. We encourage members to nominate deserving colleagues. Note that the nominator and nominee must be current members of ISPA, so be sure to renew your membership! Please submit nominations by June 8, 2020.

Third, the board is presently discussing options to give authors an opportunity to present their work remotely through webinar, electronic poster or similar means.

Interested in On-Farm Experimentation?

On-Farm experimentation is a promising way to explore the local suitability of best practice recommendations with farmers. In a digital world of data abundance, however, the risks of drawing wrong conclusions are also more considerable than what they were. The on-farm experimentation community (OFE-C) of the ISPA intends to list, organize and make best on-farm experimentation practises (social, data, analytics, value creation) available to users. Signup using the OFE-C expression-of-interest form to be in the loop of very near future developments.

Nobel laureate shows the power of digital agriculture and on-farm experimentation

Michael Kremer got a share of the 2019 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for his work on experimental approaches to alleviating global poverty. He notably showed innovative uses of randomized control trials to answer key development questions related to agriculture. Kremer recently gave a lecture at the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) to show how mobile technologies and digital agriculture can create innovations reaching out to smallholders as well. Kremer also addressed the role of higher-resolution weather information, customized pest-control advice and the opportunities to improve supply chains and extension services. His recently published work shows how information sharing through mobile telephony can improve yields and adoption of recommended inputs across sub-Saharan Africa and India.

1st African Conference on Precision Agriculture - A Virtual Experience!

AfCPA AfCPA 2020 is now fully virtual! The event’s main program of invited speakers will be live-streamed December 8-10 to registrants around the world, and to participants of the 14 satellite sites located across Africa. Content will be recorded and available to registrants after the conference for a limited time.

Virtual ICPA 2020 Launching June 30

ISPA will be launching Virtual ICPA 2020 on June 30th.

The first session is slated to begin at 1:30pm U.S. CDT (UTC -5).

The session is scheduled to be approximately 90 minutes.

ISPA President, Dr. Ian Yule will open the webinar with a welcome message and introduce our keynote speaker, Dr. David Lamb, Chief Scientist at Food Agility CRC and McClymont Distinguished Professor at the University of New England in Australia. Dr. Lamb’s talk is titled, "Precision in the Food Chain". After the presentation we will have time for select questions from the audience.

After the keynote, Dr. James Lowenberg-DeBoer, President-Elect of ISPA and Chair of the Awards Committee will announce the winners of the Pierre C. Robert Junior Scientist and Senior Scientist Awards.

Dr. Nicolas Tremblay, Past-President of ISPA will then announce the results of the election for ISPA Board of Officers. Three positions were up for election: Treasurer, Secretary, and President-Elect.

After the election results we will have the transfer of the ISPA Presidency led by Dr. Ian Yule who will give remarks on his term of office and pass the gavel to Dr. James Lowenberg-DeBoer.

Following the transfer of the gavel to the new President, we will briefly outline the plan for the Virtual ICPA over the coming weeks.

Active ISPA members may attend the webinar at no cost. Non-members, please consider renewing or becoming a member (ispag.org/membership/MembershipForm) to take advantage of this and other benefits (ispag.org/membership).

The nomination committee of ISPA is requesting nominations for the following offices for the ISPA

President Elect – (Six year appointment) to serve as President Elect from July 2020 to July 2022, and then move to President for July 2022 to July 2024 and then to Past-President 2024-2026.
Secretary – (Two year appointment) to serve from July 2020 to July 2022
Treasurer - (Four year appointment) to serve from July 2020 to July 2024

Pierre C. Robert Precision Agriculture Award(s): The Pierre C. Robert Precision Agriculture Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to precision agriculture science and technology and who are presenting an oral or poster paper at the conference. Two awards will be given in this category to a Young and Senior Scientist/Professional. The young scientist/professional must be 42 or younger; the senior scientist/professional over 42. Senior scientist/professional must have 20 or more years of experience the majority of which must be in the area of precision agriculture. The selected candidates will be honored during the conference award ceremony with a Plaque of Achievement and US$ 1000 cash award.

Dear Colleagues,

The deadline for abstracts submission is only 9 days away, September 30th. This only requires a brief outline of your proposed paper (and presentation) but is important for the Organising Committee to plan for the full paper submissions.

Submission is open please submit your abstracts through the conference website. The timetable remains as follows; submit by 30th of September, assessed and decision communicated to submitting author by 26th October. Full papers (8 pages) are then required by 30th November and Poster summaries by 3rd May 2021.

In order to guarantee the academic quality of the proceedings, a scientific committee is being formed for the peer reviewing of oral communications. This committee is chaired by Dr. John V. Stafford (co-editor of the scientific journal Precision Agriculture) as the Editor of the 13th ECPA proceedings.

Please note the conference would encourage papers or abstracts on all aspects of precision agriculture related to any cropping system, from soil and crop sensing, to data management, information systems and spatial decision support systems. The present COVID-19 pandemic situation is a challenging time for everyone, however we hope all of you are still safe and healthy. We - the organizers - are still optimistic that 13th ECPA in 2021 will provide us the possibility to meet in person and have a fruitful conference concerning Precision Agriculture. Whatever the situation will be without submitting your abstracts the Organizing Committee can not make decision about inviting it for the full paper submission!

Again: at this moment the organizing commettee strongly believe that we can meet personally in Budapest, Hungary.

Angelica Suarez Cadavid - Carrot Yield Forecasting Using Different Multispectral Satellite Sensors
- This study explored the accuracies of Sentinel-2 (S2) and Worldview-3 (WV3) satellite sensors to forecast carrot root yield at the field level in three principal vegetable regions in Australia located in Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. The growing regions featured different cropping configurations, seasons and soil conditions. Above ground biomass (AGB) and yield measures were collected between 2017 and 2019 from more than 400 sample locations in 24 fields across the regions. Several reflectance-based vegetation indices were calculated and calibrated with sample data to estimate carrot root yield (t/ha). Validated accuracies ranged from 82% to 100% at the field level confirming the significant applicability of this technology in vegetable crops where dynamics of the systems limit the implementation of other technologies such as yield monitors.
Karel Charvat - EO4Agri Analysis of Potential Earth Observation for Precision Agriculture
- The main objective of EO4AGRI is to catalyze the evolution of the European capacity for improving operational agriculture monitoring from local to global levels based on information derived from Copernicus satellite observation data and through exploitation of associated geospatial and socio-economic information services. The main findings from this period are:
  - Climatic changes will be one from key drivers for future agriculture. Therefore it is necessary to provide more focused research in the area of analysis of dependencies of climate data with EO data, including historical analysis
  - Users require data with higher resolution
  - Willingness of farming sector to pay for new services is not very high and this could be a limitation for introducing new services
  - There is a need for deep integration of Earth Observation research with agriculture research. The same data could bring different results on the basis of different strategies
  - Green deal can be a good start for new Precision Agriculture Services, due to the fact that Green Deal addresses the environmental issues broadly, including Farm to Fork strategy, Biodiversity strategy, CAP strategy, Climate Change Strategy
  - European Data Strategy and Digital Twins ideas can open new possibilities for Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) for Agriculture Data. This should be also necessary to be reflected in the CAP reform
  - New intensive research in ICT like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data fusion, HPC will be needed
  - In Public sector there are requirements on new services, not only on monitoring. Planning, water management and adaptation to climatic changes are also an important topic for the future.
  - Integration of EO and navigation data is necessary
  - Standardisation is key issue for building effective solutions for integration of Agriculture Data
Preeti Kumari Tiwari - Sugarcane Crop Classification and Varietal Discrimination from Sentinel-2 Using Supervised Classifier
- The presentation is about the identification and mapping of sugarcane crop and its varieties as it is important for farmers and sugar industry decision makers of the region, for scheduling harvest as well as for agricultural field Management. The objectives of this study were to create spectral library of crops for crop discrimination. In this study, the reference spectra is prepared from the collected ground data for different crops i.e. Sugarcane, Corn, Wheat, Turmeric and different sugarcane varieties (Co86032, Co91010, Co M265, SNK9293, VSI08005 and PI1110). Classification was performed by using Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) which clearly ascertains its efficacy and reliability in retrieving the crop and its variety occurring in an area in an accurate yet quick manner.
Chase Maxton - Evaluating Proximal Soil Sensors for Measurement of Soil Physical and Chemical Properties
- Multiple proximal soil sensor technologies (EC, Soil optical reflectance, sensor pH, Gamma) were evaluated on 17 fields across 8 states for their correlation to traditional lab analyses.
Ofer Beeri - Intelligent Irrigation by Fusion of Spectral Vegetation Indices and SAR Imagery
- Integration of different satellite sensors to allow irrigation decision making at small plots, regardless weather condition
Sunil Kumar Jha - Precision Agriculture Approach for Understanding Spatial Variability of Sugarcane Productivity: A Case Study from Karnataka
- The presentation is about assessing of soil macronutrients (i.e., nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) for site-specific crop management (SSCM) and enhancing agricultural production. Geospatial technology has been utilized to assess the impact of soil properties on sugarcane productivity and optimize the decision making management for site-speci?c fertilization and precision farming. Kriging technique is used on 643 geo-referenced point soil samples during 2014-15 to interpolate lab analyzed macro nutrient such as pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), and soil available nutrients (N, P2O5, K2O). Spatial variability was quantified through Semi-variogram analysis using Geostatistics. Kriged maps were generated in Geographic Information System (GIS) using best fit exponential model. Sentinel-2 imageries are utilized for correlation between soil physical properties and the vegetation indices such as NDVI, NDWI, GNDVI, NDRE and EVI to develop prescription maps for variable rate application of fertilizers and soil amendments.
Yuval Sadeh - Estimating Daily 3 M Leaf Area Index from Space Using CubeSats Images
- Remote-sensing applications are limited by the trade-off between spatial and temporal resolutions. Monitoring the dynamics of Leaf Area Index (LAI) from space is a key attribute to estimate crop types and their phenology over large areas, and in characterising spatial variations within growers’ fields. This presentation proposes a new method to fuse a time-series of Sentinel-2 and CubeSat imagery into daily RGB-NIR surface reflectance and subsequently LAI datasets at 3 m resolution. The results of this study, which focused on monitoring wheat LAI, show that this method is effective for high spatio-temporal monitoring of field-crops.

PA Definition Translated

To help communication with farmers and agri-business the PA definition has been translated into several major languages including: Arabic, Catalan, Spanish (i.e. Castellano), Basque, French, Galacian, Italian, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. The translations are available on the ISPA website: https://ispag.org/about/definition. The ISPA Board would like to offer the PA definition in additional languages. To ensure that the definition is broadly understandable, we would like at least three PA researchers for whom the language is a primary language to endorse the translation. The translations will be posted on the ISPA website acknowledging those who worked on the translation. PA on Mechanized Farms of All Sizes

PA on field crop farms of all sizes in the USA

Around the world, data on precision agriculture (PA) use by farm size is rare, but a new study shows that PA is being used on all types and sizes of field crop farms in the US and that variable rate technology adoption is strongest where soil variability is highest regardless of farm size. The study uses data from the USDA Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS) including the previously unpublished 2016 corn and 2017 winter wheat surveys. It was co-authored by researchers from the United States Department of Agriculture and Harper Adams University. Specifically:

The data showed that for winter wheat in 2017 GPS guidance was used on 61% of all acres, with 80% of acres on farms of over 3000 acres of wheat using guidance and 18% of acres planted by the smallest farm category.
For corn the 2016 data showed that overal 59% of acres were farmed using GPS guidance, with 78% of acres on farms of over 3000 corn acres, and 9% of acres in the smallest farm category.
For the largest soybean farm category, 45% farms in an area with a high soil variability index used VRT, but in areas of lower soil variability just 18% of farms used VRT.

We - the organizers - are still optimistic that 13th ECPA in 2021 will provide us the possibility to meet in person and have a fruitful conference concerning Precision Agriculture.

ABSTRACTS
A gentle reminder about the submission of abstracts: submission is open and we invite you to submit your abstracts through the conference website. The timetable remains as follows; submit by 30th of September, assessed and decision communicated to submitting author by 26th October. Full papers (8 pages) are then required by 30th November and Poster summaries by 3rd May 2021.

In order to guarantee the academic quality of the proceedings, a scientific committee is being formed for the peer reviewing of oral communications. This committee is chaired by Dr. John V. Stafford (co-editor of the scientific journal Precision Agriculture) as the Editor of the 13th ECPA proceedings.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The Abstract has to briefly describe the work to be discussed in the paper and also give a concise summary of the findings. Please note that abstracts should have between 2 000 and 2 500 characters (including spaces) and include relevant scientific information (materials and methods, results and discussion, and conclusions).
Abstracts must be submitted using the online submission link.
All abstracts must be submitted in English (authors whose native language is not English are strongly advised to have their abstracts checked by a native speaker).
The names and affiliations of ALL authors should be included in the abstract, i.e. department, institution, city, country

"Save the Date" for the Virtual ICPA

To facilitate on-going exchange of research results and networking, the ISPA Board is planning a series of activities including:

Keynote address, awards, election results and transfer of leadership to the new president at the time when the ICPA was originally planned June 29-July 1, 2020.
Focused webinar presentation of papers originally accepted for presentation at the ICPA in the coming months. Because networking is the key aspect of the face-to-face ICPA, and most difficult to replicate on-line, the presentations will be organized to allow ample time for comment and discussion. ISPA communities will play a key role in organizing these webinars. Those communities include: On-Farm Experimentation, Nitrogen, Latin America and Economics. Past-President Nicolas Trembaly will be in contact with community leaders.

The keynote address event and the webinars will be open to all ISPA active members. Because it is impossible to find a time when ISPA members around the world can participate during their normal work hours, the on-line events will be recorded to allow asynchronous access.

Upcoming Elections for ISPA Officer Board

The candidates for the ISPA Officer Board are in and the election will open Monday, June 15th and close 11:59pm CDT (UTC -5) Friday, June 26th. See the candidates at https://www.ispag.org/election_candidates.

Precision Agriculture in Switzerland

Among Swiss farmers across all farm types, 37% are using driver assistance technology, but only 17% used sensor data collection. These results are reported in a recently published article in Precision Agriculture (Groher et al. 2020) based on a stratified random sample survey done with the help of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office. Other results include:

The highest PA adoption is among vegetable growers, with 67% using some kind of driver assistance and 31% using some sensor data such as optical weed detection or crop nitrogen sensors.
Eleven percent of Swiss vegetable growers use optical sensors for mechanical hoeing. These optical weed sensors are used on tractor mounted equipment with human drivers, not robots.
Among Swiss arable farmers, 44% use some kind of driver assistance and 34% use some sensor data collection such as yield monitoring or crop chlorophyll sensors.
Farmers in mountainous zones are significantly less likely to adopt any type of precision agriculture technology compared to those in the valleys.

13th ECPA Newsletter

Welcome to our second newsletter. To begin, we hope all of you are healthy and safe. We are still optimistic about 13th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA2021). We truly hope that the pandemic situation will be over by next year and travel restriction will be in the past…For this reason, we would like to kindly remind all the precision agriculture community to keep the dates from July 19th to 22nd 2021 marked for 13th ECPA, which will be held in Budapest, Hungary. ECPA2021 will be held under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and organized by Hungarian Society of Precision Agriculture/Agroinform Media Ltd.

The abstract submission period will be open soon. The deadline for submissions will be 30th September 2020. The abstract submission process should be familiar to most of the participants, as Wageningen Academic Publishers OASES system will be used again. Abstract acceptance, for poster or full paper submission will be notified Mid-October.

Please make sure to check the conference website (13th European Conference on Precision Agriculture) regularly for the latest news and updates. With all the uncertainties, we are trying our best to keep you updated!

With the unfortunate situation that ICPA had to be postponed, we would like to highlight that ECPA is a great opportunity for your abstract!

The academic quality of the proceedings will be guaranteed by careful editing through a peer review process by the scientific committee. After the conference, oral presenters will be invited to expand their manuscripts and submit them to a special issue of the Precision Agriculture Journal.

The higher the attendance the better ECPA works for all!

The ECPA conference is an excellent forum in Europe and worldwide to focus on specific Precision Agriculture topics while discovering what our colleagues are working on, enabling synergies and co-operation.
