Today marks 15 years.

IGWT opened for business on April Fools Day 15 years ago and while this is probably the worst of times, better times building this business has far outshone what we are experiencing today.

Nonetheless this is an anniversary, a crystal one.
These days I miss my staff, especially now when they're not with me. It is not past me, alone in this shop today, how alone I felt in that first month, but if anything those feelings from the past, anxious optimism filling me with dread and somehow hope, a sense that I was fulfilling my dreams, are similar to my outlook today.

In God We Trust was never just me.

It is the wonderfully funny souls I was privileged to work beside. The vendors whose products I wanted and admired. The factory workers and jewelry district workers in midtown NY who inspire me to create a great and fun business. That squirrel who trapped itself in our shop that one day.

And you, our customer, who've stood by us through every step. Thank you.
