Feature Focus: "Table of 10" and other packaged bundles
|
We're pretty proud of the fact that we're the only ticketing platform with a simple feature of "Packaged Tickets". This allows you to create packages or bundle deals (e.g. "Table of 10", "2 for 1", "Family of 4") that has multiple individual tickets within the package. What does this mean exactly?
- Multiple individual tickets will be issued upon the purchase of the package instead of single ticket (e.g. 10 individual tickets will be issued for "Table of 10").
- If asking additional questions "Per Ticket", you will be able to collect information for each attendee for packages (e.g. names, dietary requirements).
- You will be able to accurately track your event capacity, as the sale of each package will count for the exact number of attendees (e.g. a "Table of 10" will count for a capacity of 10 instead of 1).

Did you know our partner Room to Read has received the 2014 U.S. Library of Congress Literacy award, the 2011 UNESCO Confucius Prize for Literacy, and has been recognised as a 2014 World's Children's Prize Honorary Laureate? ????????????
Humanitix partners with Room to Read's Girls' Education Program to holistically improve the lives of disadvantaged girls, through the power of education. Studies have shown that educated women are more likely to have healthier families, lower HIV infection rates, and higher wages. They are also more likely to marry later and educate their own children - ending the cycle of illiteracy in one generation.
Through its Girls' Education Program, more than 95,000 girls have been reached since 2000. In 2017, 95% of girls who remained in the program advanced to the next grade. Participation in life skills sessions also rose substantially, from 35% in 2008 to 88% in 2017. Grade advancement has been higher, and dropouts lower, among girls who participate in life skills education.
Thank YOU for helping Humanitix change lives with the gift of education. We can't stress enough how important this work is - when children learn foundational literacy skills, their educational trajectories are transformed, and their families, communities and countries benefit.

Our newest humans Michael Shaskey & Adam Long
|
NEWBIE ALERT: the Humani-Team has grown by 2 in the last 2 months!
|
If you came onboard with Humanitix recently, there's a good chance that you'd have chatted to the smooth-talking Michael Shaskey. Did you notice his Kiwi accent????? Michael is our newest Head of Business Development with cool see-through sneakers. As an ex-Melbournian and retired naval sailor, he has a degree in dodging nerf bullets and is easily identifiable by his trail of walnuts around the office.

Adam Long is joining as Chief Growth Officer, a strange title that means he wants to talk to you about outlandish partnership ideas. He's a big fan of our partner charity Room to Read - in fact, he even started a sock company to support them, called Conscious Step. Matt Damon wears the socks, and you can too (Adam tells me his discount code is "adamsentme" ????).
