During these days of social distancing and constant worry, we wanted to let you know the steps Health Testing Centers is taking to better serve you and preserve your safety.

1) Precautions at Laboratory Patient Service Centers

LabCorp and Quest patient service centers are open for non-COVID-19 testing needs. Patient service centers do not collect specimens for COVID-19 testing.

Steps have been taken at patient service centers across the United States to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines on social distancing and enhanced cleaning procedures. New precautions at patient service centers include:

• Reserving the first business hour each day to serve people who are 65 or older and those with serious underlying medical conditions
• Disinfecting all surfaces more frequently
• Enhanced COVID-19 safety training for employees
• Washing hands more frequently

Health Testing Centers test requisitions are valid for 6 months. If you have any concerns regarding unused orders, please call before the end of May and we will extend the expiration date as a one time courtesy on any expiring requisitions.

Laboratory Patient Service Centers Update

Health Testing Centers and all patient service centers are closed for Memorial Day. Hours of operation may have changed for some LabCorp and Quest patient service centers. We strongly encourage you to make a lab appointment when ordering. To visit a patient service centers you must not be exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 for 10 days prior. You are required to wear a face mask. You should maintain social distancing. At some locations you are encouraged to wait outside or in your car once you have checked in.
