Below is a sample of the emails you can expect to receive when signed up to Green Education Foundation.
Thank you for registering at Green Education Foundation (GEF) and joining National Green Week.
The goal of Green Week is to spotlight sustainability education for at least one week. Schools and classrooms choose any week between the first full week in February and Earth Week (week of April 22) to be their Green Week.
It's easy to participate - just follow these simple steps:
1. Pick any week during that timeframe to be your Green Week
2. Select a sustainability themed program here and integrate grade specific lessons, activities and readings (located on the left hand menu) into your class during your chosen Green Week
3. Submit your program for a Green in Action Award (optional)!
Visit www.gefinstitute.org, our sister company, to access online courses and certificate programs in sustainability education. If you would like to integrate sustainability into your classroom, please use these e-Textbooks, compliments of GEF!
