You can upload a spreadsheet in CSV, TSV, or Excel format. You can preview the results, see how much you'll be charged, and get an estimated processing time before you finalize the upload. When it's complete, you'll receive an email with a link to download the file and view the results on a map.

Or, perhaps you'd rather use an API.�

Use our API to integrate geocoding directly into your site or app. Thanks to the open source community, we have libraries for a wide variety of languages. Create an API key to get started.

Credits

You can now pre-pay for credits with Geocodio. Credits allow you to lock in a volume discount, simplify your expense reporting, and give you more predictability. Best of all, they roll over month to month and never expire! (Note that they are not refundable, though.) You can purchase credits on the dashboard, or email us to pay via paper check ($500 minimum).

You can also now set your own usage limit. We've all heard horror stories about out-of-control server bills caused by a rogue script. We know this is something top of mind for many and we wanted to give you more calm when using Geocodio. You can set a daily usage limit up to 50,000 lookups on the dashboard.

Need ZIP + 4 for your addresses or coordinates?

We''ve started integrating USPS data into our results. Our first step was released today -- ZIP+4 support!

You can see the full list of ZIP code related data we return here, which includes carrier route IDs.

Address 2

As part of these changes, we also now include PO Box or Address 2 information (such as unit numbers) in the results.

API Version 1.5

Returning Address 2 information and adding ZIP+4 required in a breaking change because the formatted address key now includes unit numbers. If you''re using our API, you will need to update to Version 1.5 in order to use the zip4 append. There are no other breaking changes.

Spreadsheet Uploads

ZIP+4 can be added by selecting USPS ZIP+4 Data in Stage 4 of the upload process, just like any other data append. You can download a sample result here.

So, how much will this cost you?

ZIP+4 is priced as an additional field. For example, if you have 100 addresses and need ZIP+4 for all of them, it would count as 200 lookups. You can use our pricing calculator to estimate your costs.
