For over twenty years ECOsmarte has been treating all water, indoor and outdoor, and both hot and cold. We sell systems for properties hooked to city water or for properties with well water. A 150 item EPA water analysis comes with every well water system defining the bacteria, groundwater chemical.
If you have a pool, spa, or pond, an ECOsmarte system makes it easier to take care of. You'll also have pure drinking water at every cold faucet indoors, while yielding the outdoor water savings.
We have health minded Malibu customers with 40 grains hardness and no water softener. They get whiter whites, brighter colors, and use a lot less soap.

On properties less than one acre, the outdoor water can often be treated without additional operating cost. On 2 acre drip or mist irrigation footprints, standard 1" residential equipment can often be used.

 Organic water is healthy!
ECOsmarte's oxygen in conjunction with the pharmaceutical carbons remove not only the chlorine used in the water treatment, but we fully remove no fewer than five trihalomethane gasses that pass through a carbon filter. One full part per million chloroform, bromoform, and dioxin would normally pass through carbon without oxygen.
With ECOsmarte water, our after test results show ND on the VOC's and trihalomethane group. ND is “none detected” on a test capable of identifying one part per ten trillion. The WQA certified this under NSF 53.
With carbon filtration (and no ECOsmarte oxygen) all of the trihalomethane gases pass through. The import minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and silica remain in the water, providing many benefits in bicarbonate form with both ECOsmarte city and well water systems.

Does the source water matter?
YES, if you wish to stop feeding your pool and vegetable garden chlorinated water and find them easier to take care of.
YES, if you're tired of rust in your pool or hauling salt for your water softener.
Sourcewater absolutely matters regardless of which sanitation system you use for your swimming pool or spa. Water with iron, water with chloramine, or highly alkaline water from either the city or a well will cause issues in the smooth operation of the pool. A dramatic improvement without using salt or chemicals can be made on the home water and the pool water.

WE SPECIALIZE IN:
WATER WITH IRON
Staining and brown water are the obvious issues, often only in the Spring with northern climates. Removal of iron is ideally handled by filtration with a glass media filter capable of removing all iron from the main pool in 24 hours or less. Those with an auto-fill in watrmer climates will benefit from an ECOsmarte well water turbo, particularly if pop-up or mist irrigation is also used. The premium indoor water without salt or chemical is the obvious benefit, as ECOsmarte uniquely treats all of the water -- indoor and outdoor, hot and cold.
WATER WITH CHLORAMINE
Worse for human health than simple chlorine from the municipal water treatment. It is rumored that the state of California is banning them in public pools. Most importantly, either chlorine or chloramine will combine with any residual chemical in the pool or spa. Either of the Ecosmarte whole house water systems (city or well) will remove them although sizing of the filter tank and restricting the flow rate can be critical in the commercial applications.
