Join the WBDC community on Monday mornings to connect; share ideas, struggles, and success stories; and learn from our Business Advisors MONDAY MORNING REBOOT It''s hard to believe that our first Monday Morning Reboot was more than three months ago! At the time, we knew our WBDC clients would use these calls as a forum to share their frustrations and fears, as well as ideas and resources, during a chaotic and difficult time. What we didn''t expect was that so many of you who are new to WBDC would join as well. We are honored to have welcomed so many new entrepreneurs into the WBDC family over the last few months and hope to continue to build those relationships. So, this Monday, July 13, we''re going to a deeper look at WBDC and what we do to support women entrepreneurs, when we''re not responding to an economic crisis created by a global pandemic. Now, as we begin to look forward and acclimate to our "new normal", we want to be sure you are aware of the many programs and services offered by WBDC. We''ve also got some new things coming up, so those of you who have been around for a while may learn something as well! Of course, we''ll also have our team of WBDC Business Advisors on hand to answer your questions about PPP, loan forgiveness, EIDL, Unemployment Insurance, etc. Registration Required/No Charge WHEN TIME WHERE

No images? Click here ![]() ![]() GET OUT THE VOTE: "Someone struggled for your right to vote. Use it." Just over a century ago – after a long and arduous battle by suffragettes around the country – the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, providing women the right to vote. It would be many years and many more battles before most black men and women were able to exercise their right to vote. It’s difficult to imagine what our society would look like today if our predecessors hadn’t fought so valiantly so many decades ago. And yet, many eligible voters today choose to not vote. Why? Complacency? Indecision? Hopelessness? The reasons – and excuses – are many. But don’t we owe it to Susan B. Anthony and her fellow suffragettes to use the power they fought so hard for us to have? During this Town Hall, WBDC CEO Fran Pastore will sit down with CT Secretary of State Denise Merrill and Cherie Phoenix-Sharpe, Chief Legal Advisor to Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, to talk about why it’s important for you to make your voice heard on (or before) November 3rd. Join us to explore women’s issues that are center stage right now in our country and around the globe and determine how to find your path to being a voice for change in your community.
