Hi Aiden,

There will never be another Thanksgiving like 2020 -- at least, we hope there won''t be!

The turkey trots aren''t happening in the traditional (in-person) way, and we will definitely miss seeing everyone together at once, but that doesn''t mean you should skip the pre-feast run!

Virtual versions of both our Nitro Turkey and Quarry turkey events are open for registration.

Participants of each event will receive their can-do, can-inspired medal. Those who participate in BOTH events will also receive the middle medal that connects the two.

Hi Aiden,

Thanksgiving is coming up fast but, sadly, our in-person turkey races are not!

Though we are doing our best to stay upbeak, the cancellation of a ninth month of live events -- and especially our pre-feast (Nitro Turkey) and post-feast (Quarry Turkey) races -- has put us in a pretty fowl mood. Nevertheless, we know this tradition is important, so we decided to wing it and take it virtual.

Brazen Virtual Turkeys are now open for registration.

Nitro Turkey virtual. Our traditional Thanksgiving morning run. Great for for those wanting to loosen up, sweat and make room before the feast-ivities.

Quarry Turkey is our race that normally takes place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, offering a chance to shake off any post-pie sluggishness -- and make room for more pie.

5K is the minimum distance, but those wishing to go further can still do so and record their distance and time in the online results (to make it official).

Virtual runs can be done on any day and at any time -- no worrying about getting to the race on time, finding parking and rushing back to get that pie in the oven before it''s too late!

Shirts and medals will be mailed to all participants after Thanksgiving.

Little Turkey medals (for the kids, just like we have at the race) will be available free of charge for kids running with registrants.

Anyone signing up for both races (AKA, the Turkey Combo) gets an additional middle medal to help make the 2020 Brazen Turkey Combo Mega Medal (examples of past versions below).

And although we can''t do our usual food can drive where we normally raise a (literal) ton of food, we are encouraging our participants to make donations to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and offering that opportunity during registration.

Hi Aiden,

All the cool cats will be rocking out on the trails of Wildcat Canyon Regional Park on Saturday, May 9th and we want you to be one of them.

These trail courses offer some insanely purr-ty views, but you will have to have to stay paw-sitive and work for them first by getting up the hill! The half marathon is also part of the Ultra Half Marathon Series, leading runners closer to being 2020 series finishers, along with big checks, top-10 shirts and finisher coasters.

Cat-ch you on the 9th!

As a bonus, register before March 28th at the lowest prices of the year!
