In the current environment, it is important for all of us to be health-conscious. That is why we want to update you on the situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your health with Bont products. 

Most of the skates that you purchase from Bont have been in stock in our US warehouse for weeks or months. We are one of the only boot manufacturers who run our own factories in China for boot production so we control every aspect of the production facilities including sanitation. All employees currently wear masks, have their temperature monitored at the start of each day and the entire production line is sanitized four times per day. Our boots and the products that we do not make ourselves such as some frames and bearings are all sanitized before shipping. The products (apart from custom skates) take 5 weeks to reach the USA.

In perfect conditions, the COVID-19 virus can live on a surface anywhere from a few hours to a few days.  For products that we air freight to the USA such as custom boots, it usually takes four days for them to arrive in our warehouse and then it takes a further two days to ship them to our customers. We will sanitize the custom boots again in our US warehouse before re-shipping them to you to ensure that there is absolutely no possibility of Bont products causing any infection.
