Hello Balance Me Community,

This month we've both managed to escape London to visit our parents who live on the edge of the beautiful Peak District, where we grew up. It felt so good to see our parents after so many months, breathe some country air and bathe in softer water for a welcome change! Our mother hasn't been very well so we all felt the benefit of some physical as opposed to virtual contact. Many will have spotted the 'change of scene' on our Instagram channel and our parents featured in Clare's recipes and Rebecca's Live skincare tutorials! Our mother's skin has always been one of our true skin-spirations and her favourites remain our Moisture Rich Face Cream, Stellar Balm and Super Moisturising Hand Cream which she's religiously used since the beginning.

July has been super busy with the much-anticipated arrival of our Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum, our natural alternative answer to retinol skincare. Think radiance, improved skin texture, a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, without the side of sensitivity. It's currently number two bestseller so thank you for loving it as much as we do. 90.4% of our testing panel said their skin appeared immediately smoother! We're very proud of this statistic.

I (Rebecca) have been particularly loving our Rose Otto Face Oil over the last few months. I've been adding two drops to my Collagen Boost Moisturiser in the morning and then dropper-ing it directly on to my skin last thing at night, after applying our new Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum. I love the English Rose Garden scent and its lightweight, nurturing texture. My skin has been drier than usual during lockdown so twice daily application has been particularly rejuvenating for my complexion.

As many of you who follow us on Instagram know, I (Clare) am mildly obsessed with eye cream, having used eye treatments since I was 12 (I was teased on sleepovers when I was younger!).
