Flexible travel

BOOK WITH PEACE OF MIND

If you are planning to travel or have already booked your flights, but are concerned about the current situation, Air France is giving you the peace of mind by temporarily introducing a zero change fee on all tickets.

• If you are currently planning your next trip, you can change the period in which you choose to fly as well as the destination. This option is valid for bookings made by March 31, 2020 for travel until May 31, 2020*.

• If you already have a ticket for travel until May 31, 2020, Air France allows you to rebook or change your ticket as follows:

- Need to change your travel dates? This option applies to all tickets with Air France, KLM and Delta Air Lines flights. Your new departure date should be no later than May 31, 2020. The costs of any applicable fare differences will remain.

- Prefer to travel after May 31, 2020 or change your destination?
You can exchange your ticket for a voucher. This is redeemable for tickets from Air France, KLM or Delta Air Lines.

To make it even easier for you, make any of these changes to your travels on airfrance.us or via the Air France mobile app.

Dear valued customer,

I sincerely hope that this message finds you and your loved ones well and in good health.

We are currently facing an unprecedented situation and we must all, each in our own way, take the necessary steps to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Since 14 March, we have been concentrating our efforts on repatriating those of you who were stranded far from home.
To date, more than 240,000 people have been able to return home on our flights from 82 countries, including close to 130,000 French nationals repatriated in close coordination with the French Ministry of Transport and Foreign Affairs.

In line with the decisions taken by the authorities of countries worldwide, we are now forced to take the unprecedented decision to suspend almost all of our flights.
However, for those of you who have no choice but to travel, we have decided to maintain a certain number of flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and a few destinations in France and abroad.
This minimum flight schedule may be modified at any time depending on the regulatory measures taken by each country and is available in real time on our website airfrance.com.

Following the closure of Paris-Orly airport on 31 March, we have concentrated all our operations to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Our downtown and airport ticket offices as well as our lounges will remain closed for the time being.

As you know, the safety of our flights, our customers and our staff has always been our priority.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, we have implemented additional and more stringent cleaning and disinfection measures, both on the ground and on board.
Our check-in and boarding areas have been modified to take into account the required social distancing.
On all our flights, in all our travel cabins, we have adapted and simplified our service to limit interaction and contact as much as possible.

Finally, we have extended the date for postponing your trip at no extra cost until 30 November 2020. For members of our Flying Blue frequent flyer programme, we have already maintained the validity of Miles that may expire in the coming months until the end of 2020.
These special measures are intended to minimize any inconvenience caused by this crisis.

Please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to keep you clearly informed about the day-to-day development of this situation.

This unprecedented situation is also having an impact on the lives of our colleagues, who nevertheless remain fully committed to providing you with the best possible support.
