Three years ago today, in April 2017, andieswim.com went live.

I had 400 swimsuits and a tiny storage unit in Chinatown. I wasn't sure how I'd sell all those suits, much less survive as a business more than a couple months.

Now, it's April 2020. We''ve sold over 200,000 swimsuits, gained 14 talented employees, and (when we''re not in the middle of a global pandemic) work out of a beautiful office in the heart of New York City.

Needless to say, I am unbelievably proud of everything that we have accomplished. I feel incredibly grateful that Team Andie is keeping spirits high and, most importantly, staying healthy.

Thursday was our 3rd Andieversary and I''ve been feeling pretty sentimental. It doesn''t help that TimeHop has been reminding me of all the #TB photos in my camera roll. Today, I figured I would show you some of these behind-the-scenes moments and tell a few stories from back in the day - they''re just too good not to share.

Throwback to April 2017: I had 400 swimsuits to sell out of a tiny (+ short-leased) storage unit in Chinatown. My cousin-in-law Rachel came from Pennsylvania?to help sell them. I wasn't sure Andie would survive more than a couple months.

When I started Andie, I had no background in fashion and certainly wasn't too involved in the world of women's swimwear brands - I just knew it didn't have to be so hard to find a great suit. When I would get ready for a pool or beach trip with family and friends, I would dread shopping for a swimsuit. I didn't understand why my only choices seemed to be ill-fitting, poor-quality suits from a department store or overpriced, too-revealing suits from designer labels. My dream was to have beautiful, well-made suits that would stand the test of time - both in quality and style. I figured I wasn't the only woman with this swim shopping dream, so I took the plunge.

I know we couldn''t have sold the first 400 suits without you and your endless support over the last 3 years.
