Dear Jon,
"Great difficulties may be surmounted by patience and perseverance." - Abigail Adams
Perseverance is central to the 261 Fearless philosophy. We continue our work to spark a revolution of empowerment, needed now more than ever. During difficult times, opportunities may emerge that make us stronger, and we support women in discovering and unfolding their full strength and potential.
Our programs - providing education, health and exercise - persist and 261 Fearless continuously supports women. Join us for a work-out with the global 261 Fearless community at the virtual #261fearLESStogether Meet Run each Thursday - together it''s more fun! Additionally, you can join the #hometeamhero challenge powered by adidas and support the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Fund for every hour of activity. Together we stay active and healthy!
Staying active and healthy is one side of the medal: 261 Fearless also supports women emotionally in the current situation. We''re lifting each other up and making women within the community thrive at our 261 Fearless Open House.
As a source of inspiration for empowerment and a self-determined life, we offer our 261 Empowerment Talks. Five women tell their life stories and light the spark in listeners around the globe!
If you would like to support our activities, we invite you to join our 261 Friends Program that will be re-launched soon.
Find out more about this and many other topics in our newsletter and enjoy the read!
With love,
Your 261 Fearless Team

THE 261 FEARLESS
EMPOWERMENT TALKS
The 261 Empowerment Talks feature high-profile women who speak about their personal stories and experiences to inspire women to step up, become empowered and serve as a role-model to others. We''re proud to announce three brand-new editions of the 261 Empowerment Talks where we interviewed inspiring women virtually:
Ghita El Khyari, Head of Secretariat of the Women''s Peace and Humanitarian Fund: The Fund supports grassroots women''s organizations around the world in peace building, conflict resolution and crisis prevention. Ghita El-Khyari shares her insights on the powerful role women play in crises.
|
|
Kathrine Switzer & Edith Zuschmann, the founders of 261 Fearless: Making decisions can be daunting sometimes, but Kathrine Switzer and Edith Zuschmann inspire us to step up and be fearless. Both made decisions that powerfully changed their lives and those of women around the globe.
|
|
Nabila Sam & Tasha Jackie, Adidas Runners in Kuala Lumpur: Fulfilling your dreams and doing what you want to do is sometimes hard, especially when cultural beliefs are working against you. Nabila Sam and Tasha Jackie are two Muslim women in Malaysia, where running is very atypical for women. However, they''re breaking down barriers for themselves and other women in their communities.
