Hi Mila -

You may have heard that the city issued new restrictions in an effort to slow the current surge of COVID cases, which includes a ban on indoor exercise and small-group gatherings starting this Friday.

We will still have our previously scheduled in-person offerings in Midtown tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. We''re also still allowed to shake it outside, so we''ll continue dancing at Markward and Marian Anderson playgrounds as long as the weather permits. And, of course, you can always catch more than 35 classes a week on our livestream. So while this is disappointing news, we will NOT let it stop us from dancing with you!

If you pre-purchased any drop-ins, you can easily transfer to a virtual or outdoor class. For virtual classes, please be sure to sign up the same day as the class so that you get the correct daily livestream password in your confirmation email.

We are so grateful that you''re a part of our community and that we''ve been able to continue sharing our passion for movement during this challenging time. We have not heard of ANY cases spreading at our limited-capacity indoor classes since late July, which is a huge testament to the effectiveness of face masks and social distancing. We''ll be counting down the days until we can welcome you back to the studio again. Until then, we hope to see you outside or on the livestream!

Hello, October! With fall weather here and Halloween ahead, we''re gearing up for all sorts of fun outdoor dancing. Starting this month, we''re adding another weekly "Dance Party in the Park," this time at a NEW location: Join us Mondays at 5:30 p.m. outside the Marian Anderson Rec Center in Graduate Hospital.

You can also still find us at Markward on Sundays and Thursdays. (Michelle''s throwing it down tonight at 6 p.m., details here.) And we''ve got some socially distant tricks & treats up our sleeve for later this month, get a sneak preview here.

Speaking of October events, don''t miss our signature striptease dance parties, now available both in-studio and via livestream! Sign up ASAP if you plan to join us at the Midtown studio because capacity remains extra limited as a safety precaution (our burlesque mask-querade last weekend sold out!)

Despite the pandemic, longtime Philly Dance Fitness member Margaret Mason managed to make her wildest dreams come true: producing and starring in her very own cabaret, which premieres this Saturday at the Fringe Festival! Philadelphia Dance Day will look a lot different this year, but we''re thrilled to announce that we''ve found an outdoor space where we can still celebrate! Join us Saturday for a 90-minute dance party featuring a mix of line dances, Hip-Hop, Zumba and Cardio Pop led by a fabulous team of volunteer instructors. All ages welcome, just show up and jump in!

Saturday July 25th from 4-5:30 p.m.
The LAWN at UCity Square (37th & Cuthbert Streets)

Bring lots of water and wear supportive shoes, sunscreen and your face mask.

You may have heard that city officials have given the go-ahead for limited indoor group exercise, and we cannot wait to welcome you back! We''ve already done thorough cleanings and marked out socially distant spots, and now are just waiting on some AC repairs. We''ll send you an update as soon as we add in-person classes back to the schedule. Meanwhile, you can find detailed info about our new safety protocols here.

We had such a blast dancing outside last week and can''t wait to do it again! This Friday, we''ll be at the beautiful Taney Park in Center City - come help us "break in" our new battery-powered speaker! OMG We''re Back Again!

We are so excited to see your beautiful faces again! We''ve got a fully loaded schedule for you, including the return of in-studio options! Find cardio classes at our Midtown location (1301 Locust St, 2nd Floor) almost every day. In-studio ballet will resume around mid-January.

At the studio, we''ll continue operating with limited capacity, face masks and social distancing to keep everyone safe. Read full details about our safety protocols here.
