Modernica and Krink collaborate to celebrate Krink's first monograph, Krink: Graffiti, Art, and Invention, published by Rizzoli.

The Modernica x Krink Case Study® Furniture Aiko X Base Table features an image of an early Krinked mailbox with iconic drips from the early 2000s in NYC, taken by Craig Costello, founder and owner of Krink.

The Case Study® Aiko Table is a lightweight occasional table, perfect for flexible use spaces. Modernica constructs each tabletop with eleven layers of laminated hardwoods and bevels the exposed wood edge. This special edition features a black base and a Krink logo plate. The edition of 50 tables is available for purchase exclusively at modernica.net.

About Modernica
For over 25 years, Modernica has proudly built each piece of furniture, one-by-one, at its five-acre campus in Los Angeles, CA. It has been family owned and operated since it opened. Modernica is responsible for revitalizing the almost lost art of high-pressure fiberglass molding. The factory is home to the historic fiberglass presses and specialized machinery that has been used in the production of thousands of chairs for over three generations. The Fiberglass Shell Chairs were originally designed in 1948 as an entry in The Museum of Modern Art’s International Design Competition, and are easily one of the most important and recognizable designs of the twentieth century. For more information, visit modernica.net.
